In the field of Postcolonial Studies by Professor Sati Chatterjee: Sri Aurobindo: A Postcolonial Reader (postcolonial response in colonial India), published by The Centre for Sri Aurobindo Studies, Department of Philosophy, Jadavpur University in association with The National Council of Education, Bengal, and Messages from the Deep : the West encounters the Rig-veda have come out. The works are highly appreciated and reviewed in leading journals.
A compilation of the postcolonial writings of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, entitled বঙ্কিম মননে উত্তর-উপনিবেশ চেতনা is in the press. A critical monograph with extensive bibliography, on the “trans- National” ideas of Rabindranath Tagore is being prepared.
