Sri Balaram Bose

PhD, MME, FIE, MIWRA, MNCEB, born in Dhaka (Bangladesh) in 1937; studied in Jadavpur Univ. (JU) and Southampton Univ.; joined the Mechanical Engineering Department of JU In 1959 as Lecturer; retired from JU as Professor and Director of the Inter-Disciplinary School of Water Resources Engineering in Aug 2002. Also, developed and worked as the Principal Co-ordinator of the Regional Centre, NAEB of the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Government of India (New Delhi) formed in 1989. Also, providing about 38 years of service to the Alma Mater.
